GLOW (Girls Leading Others Wisely)
Facilitator Certification Training
Start a GLOW program at your school or organization!
The GLOW program was created to give every girl an opportunity to be strong, confident and healthy. The purpose of GLOW is to unite girls in a school/organization and provide them with the opportunity to be agents of change. The program inspires girls of all ethnic, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds to be prominent, positive leaders.
The GLOW program is designed for girls aged 7-14 and can be offered as a lunch time, after school or as an evening program in schools and/or with organizations.
Each session includes time for a GLOW Circle to promote pre-teen/teen conversations, facilitated by a GLOW Leader, related to one of our eight relevant themes. Girls learn how to set and work toward personal goals. This is an essential to enhance engagement and develop leadership skills. A nutritional snack is provided each class. The fitness activity is led by a variety of female guests who are passionate about a specific fitness activity. Please note: The GLOW program can be offered with or without the fitness component, if time designated for implementation is limited.
