What is GLOW?

The GLOW program was created to give every girl an opportunity to be strong, confident and healthy. The purpose of GLOW is to unite girls in a school/organization and provide them with the opportunity to be agents of change. The program inspires girls of all ethnic, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds to be prominent, influential leaders.

The GLOW program is designed for girls aged 7-14 and can be offered as a lunch time, after school or evening program.

Each session begins with a GLOW Circle, facilitated by a GLOW Leader, to promote pre-teen/teen conversations related to one of our eight relevant themes. Girls learn how to set and work toward personal goals. A nutritional snack is provided each class. Different fitness activities each class exposes girls to a variety of healthy options. Please note: The GLOW program can be offered with or without the fitness component.

About the session:

You will be immersed in current research and conversation related to empowering girls. Exploration of the social, emotional as well as improving their physical health domains will be the focus. Registration includes all the materials necessary to launch our most popular GLOW theme: ‘Authentic Me’

The GLOW Leader Guide is user-friendly and contains step-by-step instructions on how to set up a GLOW program at your school or organization.
